1. What is the difference between UI and UX? Explain in your own words.

UI (User Interface):
  • UI stands for user interface design.
  • UI (User Interface) is the design of the visual elements of a website, such as buttons, layouts, and colors.
  • UI is focused on the look and feel of a website
  • UI designers create the visual elements of a website.
  • UI is about making a website look good.
  • UI designers work closely with front-end developers.
  • UI is a part of the product development process.

UX (User Experience):
  • UX stands for user experience design.
  • UX (User Experience) is a user's overall experience when using a website, including ease of use and satisfaction.
  • UX is focused on usability and functionality.
  • UX designers create the overall structure and flow.
  • UX is about making a product easy to use.
  • UX designers work closely with product managers and user research teams.
  • UX is an overarching discipline with multiple steps such as research, design, and testing.

2. Who is a front-end developer? Explain the roles and responsibilities in your own words.

A front-end developer focuses on the design and functioning of the elements of a website or application with which users interact directly. They are responsible for ensuring that the website or application appears and functions properly for users.

A front-end developer's top priorities and roles include

  • Creating the layout and design of a website or application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • ensure that the website or application is responsive, which means that it functions effectively on a wide range of devices and screen sizes.
  • Forms, buttons, and menus are examples of interactive elements that can be created and implemented.
  • ensuring that users with a disability may access the website or application.
  • Testing and debugging the website or application to identify and resolve any issues or faults.
  • Collaborating with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to create a website or application that meets the needs of users.

3. Who is a backend developer? Explain the roles and responsibilities in your own words.

A back-end developer is someone who works on the parts of a website or application that are not visible to the user. They are in response to the coding and programming that takes place that is not visible to the user to ensure that the website or application functions properly.

A backend developer's top priorities and roles include
  • Writing code in programming languages like Java, Python, or Ruby
  • Database creation, and maintenance.
  • Making sure that the website or application is secure and safe from hackers or other security threats.
  • Develop APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that allow various systems and applications to connect to each other.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging any technical issues that arise.
